STUDY CODESP03
The research question

Is the athlete’s movement strategy creating unnecessary biomechanical load, fatigue or risk of performance deterioration?

Sport ErgoMetrics measures the movement, muscular activation and biomechanical efficiency of elite athletes in the real sporting environment, with particular attention to asymmetry and accumulated muscular fatigue.

ParticipantsElite athletes or athletes preparing for international competitions.
Minimum sampleN = 1
DurationDepends on the sport and the task being evaluated.

How this study is executed.

The protocol below reflects the service definition developed for Neuro Garage. Final details are confirmed before execution.

01

Define the sporting movement, performance phase and biomechanical question.

02

Instrument the athlete with EMG + IMU and capture synchronized video during the real task.

03

Measure posture, movement, muscular activation, symmetry / asymmetry, repetition, stability and fatigue accumulation.

04

Identify compensatory movement, load concentration and performance deterioration over time.

05

Translate the evidence into training, recovery, technique and return-to-competition decisions.

Scientific configuration

The method follows the question

Technology is selected because it is scientifically appropriate for the research objective, not because a device must be used. Santiago configures the study scope, stimuli, participant flow and measurement path before execution.
