The research question

How does alertness deteriorate during sustained performance, and what ocular and EEG indicators accompany that decline?

A Health-focused assessment of fatigue, drowsiness, vigilance loss and microsleep-compatible events during standardized tasks. It does not replace MSLT/MWT or specialist sleep testing where indicated.

ParticipantsPeople referred for objective fatigue or daytime-somnolence assessment.
Minimum sampleIndividual clinical assessment: N = 1. Research cohorts: sample size defined by the study design.
DurationTask duration is set to the clinical/research question and safety constraints.

Measurement follows the task

The technology path shown here is the approved structure for this service. The exact protocol is configured around the research question, environment and participant flow.

01 · CoreEEG + Eye Tracking / Pupillometry

Synchronized alertness and ocular measurement.

Typical protocol · Health

How this study is executed.

The protocol below reflects the service definition developed for Neuro Garage. Final details are confirmed before execution.

01

Establish rested baseline.

02

Run standardized sustained-attention or vigilance task.

03

Record EEG, pupil, blink and gaze stability over time.

04

Quantify performance variability and microsleep-compatible events.

05

Report alertness deterioration and recovery pattern.

Scientific configuration

The method follows the question

Technology is selected because it is scientifically appropriate for the research objective, not because a device must be used. Santiago configures the study scope, stimuli, participant flow and measurement path before execution.
