The research question

How is attention allocated toward or away from food, body-image and other clinically relevant stimuli?

A complementary neurobehavioral assessment for anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge-eating disorder and other protocol-appropriate eating-disorder presentations. It does not diagnose an eating disorder from eye tracking or physiology alone.

ParticipantsPeople with an eating disorder under qualified clinical care.
Minimum sampleIndividual clinical assessment: N = 1. Research cohorts: sample size defined by the study design.
DurationProtocol-defined individual assessment.

Technology configuration

Measurement follows the task

The technology path shown here is the approved structure for this service. The exact protocol is configured around the research question, environment and participant flow.

01 · CoreEye Tracking Bar

Food, neutral and body-related stimuli defined with the clinician.

02 · OptionalGSR / EDA

Autonomic reactivity.

03 · ResearchEEG

Advanced research module only when scientifically justified.

Typical protocol · Health

How this study is executed.

The protocol below reflects the service definition developed for Neuro Garage. Final details are confirmed before execution.

01

Define diagnosis-specific question and ethically appropriate stimuli.

02

Establish baseline.

03

Present food, neutral or body-related stimuli according to the approved protocol.

04

Measure initial orienting, dwell, avoidance and re-engagement.

05

Add autonomic or EEG modules only when justified.

Typical outputs

Decisions supported

What the client can change with the evidence

The study is designed to translate observed behavior into concrete operational, people, design or risk-management decisions.

01Support specialist assessment
02Identify attention-bias targets
03Monitor change during treatment
04Refine research questions
Scientific configuration

The method follows the question

Technology is selected because it is scientifically appropriate for the research objective, not because a device must be used. Santiago configures the study scope, stimuli, participant flow and measurement path before execution.
