The research question

What oculomotor, visual-exploration and neurophysiological patterns are present, and how do they change longitudinally?

A complementary research and monitoring pathway for schizophrenia-spectrum and other psychotic disorders using eye tracking and EEG. It does not provide an autonomous psychiatric diagnosis.

ParticipantsPeople with schizophrenia-spectrum or other psychotic disorders under psychiatric care.
Minimum sampleIndividual clinical assessment: N = 1. Research cohorts: sample size defined by the study design.
DurationProtocol-defined individual assessment and longitudinal follow-up.

Technology configuration

Measurement follows the task

The technology path shown here is the approved structure for this service. The exact protocol is configured around the research question, environment and participant flow.

01 · CoreEye Tracking Bar

Exploratory eye movements, fixation, pursuit, saccades and visual search.

02 · AdvancedEEG

Resting EEG and task/ERP paradigms when clinically or scientifically justified.

Typical protocol · Health

How this study is executed.

The protocol below reflects the service definition developed for Neuro Garage. Final details are confirmed before execution.

01

Define the psychiatric and research question.

02

Run fixation, pursuit, exploratory and visual-search tasks.

03

Record resting or task-based EEG when indicated.

04

Quantify oculomotor, attention and neurophysiological patterns.

05

Compare longitudinally within the approved clinical scope.

Decisions supported

What the client can change with the evidence

The study is designed to translate observed behavior into concrete operational, people, design or risk-management decisions.

01Support specialist review
02Characterize measurable functional patterns
03Monitor longitudinal change
04Inform research or intervention follow-up
Scientific configuration

The method follows the question

Technology is selected because it is scientifically appropriate for the research objective, not because a device must be used. Santiago configures the study scope, stimuli, participant flow and measurement path before execution.
