The research question

How strongly and how long does the person react to anxiety triggers, and how does that response change during graded exposure and regulation?

A specialist-supervised pathway for anxiety disorders, including specific phobias, social anxiety, panic disorder and agoraphobia, combining physiological measurement with graded VR exposure when clinically indicated.

ParticipantsPeople with an anxiety disorder under qualified mental-health care.
Minimum sampleIndividual clinical assessment: N = 1. Research cohorts: sample size defined by the study design.
DurationAssessment plus repeated graded exposure sessions according to the treatment plan.

Technology configuration

Measurement follows the task

The technology path shown here is the approved structure for this service. The exact protocol is configured around the research question, environment and participant flow.

01 · CoreVR + GSR / EDA

Controlled exposure and autonomic-response measurement.

02 · OptionalEye Tracking

Threat attention, avoidance and re-engagement when relevant.

Typical protocol · Health

How this study is executed.

The protocol below reflects the service definition developed for Neuro Garage. Final details are confirmed before execution.

01

Establish baseline and target trigger with the clinician.

02

Record physiological baseline.

03

Run controlled graded exposure or stimulus presentation.

04

Measure arousal, recovery and visual approach/avoidance where relevant.

05

Adjust exposure difficulty and repeat longitudinally.

Decisions supported

What the client can change with the evidence

The study is designed to translate observed behavior into concrete operational, people, design or risk-management decisions.

01Individualize exposure hierarchy
02Monitor physiological regulation
03Track habituation
04Support clinician-led treatment planning
Scientific configuration

The method follows the question

Technology is selected because it is scientifically appropriate for the research objective, not because a device must be used. Santiago configures the study scope, stimuli, participant flow and measurement path before execution.
