The research question

Which cognitive, oculomotor, balance and mobility functions are affected after traumatic brain injury, and how are they recovering?

A multimodal pathway for traumatic brain injury, including concussion/mild TBI, combining oculomotor and cognitive assessment with balance, mobility and technology-assisted rehabilitation.

ParticipantsPeople with traumatic brain injury or concussion under medical or rehabilitation care.
Minimum sampleIndividual clinical assessment: N = 1. Research cohorts: sample size defined by the study design.
DurationAssessment and follow-up are protocol-defined.

Technology configuration

Measurement follows the task

The technology path shown here is the approved structure for this service. The exact protocol is configured around the research question, environment and participant flow.

01 · CoreEye Tracking + IMU

Oculomotor/cognitive assessment plus balance and mobility.

02 · AdvancedEEG

Complementary neurophysiological module when justified.

03 · RehabilitationVR

Protocol-defined cognitive or motor rehabilitation.

Typical protocol · Health

How this study is executed.

The protocol below reflects the service definition developed for Neuro Garage. Final details are confirmed before execution.

01

Define injury context, symptoms and clinical restrictions.

02

Measure fixation, saccades, pursuit, visual search and relevant cognitive tasks.

03

Assess balance and mobility with IMU.

04

Add EEG or VR rehabilitation when appropriate.

05

Repeat measures to characterize recovery trajectory.

Typical outputs

Decisions supported

What the client can change with the evidence

The study is designed to translate observed behavior into concrete operational, people, design or risk-management decisions.

01Support clinical follow-up
02Target rehabilitation
03Monitor recovery
04Identify persistent deficits requiring deeper evaluation
Scientific configuration

The method follows the question

Technology is selected because it is scientifically appropriate for the research objective, not because a device must be used. Santiago configures the study scope, stimuli, participant flow and measurement path before execution.
