The research question

Which motor, mobility, communication or visual-attention functions are impaired after stroke, and how are they recovering?

A modular post-stroke pathway combining objective motor and mobility measurement with technology-assisted rehabilitation. Modules may include EMG biofeedback, upper- or lower-limb rehabilitation, balance and mobility, dysphagia support, aphasia/language rehabilitation, and visual-attention assessment when clinically indicated.

ParticipantsPeople recovering from stroke, under a qualified rehabilitation or medical team.
Minimum sampleIndividual clinical assessment: N = 1. Research cohorts: sample size defined by the study design.
DurationIndividual assessment plus repeated rehabilitation sessions according to the clinical plan.

Technology configuration

Measurement follows the task

The technology path shown here is the approved structure for this service. The exact protocol is configured around the research question, environment and participant flow.

01 · CoreEMG + IMU

Muscle activation, movement, symmetry and functional mobility.

02 · RehabilitationVR

Motor and functional task practice when clinically appropriate.

03 · OptionalEye Tracking / EEG

For visual-attention, neglect, cognitive or research-specific questions.

Typical protocol · Health

How this study is executed.

The protocol below reflects the service definition developed for Neuro Garage. Final details are confirmed before execution.

01

Define affected functions and medical/rehabilitation restrictions.

02

Establish motor, mobility and task-specific baseline measures.

03

Select the appropriate rehabilitation module: motor, EMG biofeedback, balance, dysphagia, language or visual attention.

04

Repeat instrumented tasks across treatment sessions.

05

Report functional recovery trajectory and module-specific outcomes.

Scientific configuration

The method follows the question

Technology is selected because it is scientifically appropriate for the research objective, not because a device must be used. Santiago configures the study scope, stimuli, participant flow and measurement path before execution.
